And how we start our mornings sets the tone for the entire day.

Starting your day with intention and from a place of gratitude, then, sets you up not only for a great day, but a great life.

Unfortunately, most of the people I talk to don’t start their days that way. Instead of confidently setting the tone for their day with an intentional morning they either wake up and rush about or immediately pick up their phones and start scrolling social media or checking their emails.

Spoiler: both of those options are a great way to quickly get in a bad mood.

The secret to a great morning will not be found on Instagram.

Instead, it’s found in stillness.

In breathing.

In prayer.

In cultivating gratitude before you even get out of bed.
